jongin/kyungsoo as tyrion/shae ; for susan
there was no room for weakness, not in jongin’s position. he was surrounded by people who would take any chance to harm him. he knew of that long before he met kyungsoo, long before he had allowed these feelings to grow upon him.
“you can’t trust anyone in king’s landing. they’re all liars,” he remembered telling kyungsoo the other day.
he lay in bed, body tense from the negative possibilities stirring in his mind. not even the constant reassurances from kyungsoo—that he is a grown man who is capable of taking care of himself—could allow jongin to relax. kyungsoo could sense jongin’s panic. he lifted his head up from where he lay beside the other and rested his chin on jongin’s chest.
“what’s wrong?” kyungsoo asked, though both knew what bothered jongin.
jongin looked down towards the pair of seemingly pure eyes. “i would kill for you, do you know that?” there was a moment of slight shock, but kyungsoo silently acknowledged it, already aware of what may come. “you’re mine,” jongin continued shakily, his expression a bit scared—uncertain.
“i’m yours,” kyungsoo replied, answering with complete sincerity although visibly taken aback with the timing.
his face softened with relief, but it wasn’t enough. “promise me.”
kyungsoo’s expression turned serious, fully intent on showing jongin that he meant it. “i am yours and you are mine.”
